Home About Paralegal Membership

In delivering the highest quality legal services to clients, the lawyer-paralegal team is an essential element.

As the law develops, continuing legal education for paralegals is as important as it is for lawyers. Through associate member status, the College honors paralegals that make a commitment to maintain and enhance their professional skills through continuing legal education.

Application and Renewal Process

  1. Education requirement: You must accrue 10 (1 ethics) course credit hours plus 2 (1 ethics) self-study hours for a total of 12 credit hours per calendar year. You may join or renew at any point throughout the year once you accrue the required credit hours.
  2. Membership Fee: Paralegal Associate Membership in the College is $40 annually.
