Please share some memorable moments from your career.
I am a board member of Connect Community, a nonprofit serving the Gulfton/Sharpstown area in SW Houston. This year we opened the first residential building in the Gulfton area in the past 40 years! Gulfton is the most diverse neighborhood in Texas with residents representing over 50 countries. I am proud to give back to a place that I grew up in and helped mold the person that I am today.
What are your hobbies?
Traveling: I love to learn about different cultures and languages.
Community involvement: it is my passion to pay it forward to our future generation and be hands on with the community.
Reading: I love history and government and love to read about past events that shaped our current times.
Do you have any special interests or fun facts you would like to share?
I love to watching cinema /movies. I usually watch every movie that is nominated for an Oscar. I find that a good movie can take my stress away and change mindset for the duration of the film. I enjoy dramatic films, the more dialogue the better!
Why did you join the College?
I joined the college because I love the law and always want to keep learning. I enjoy attending live conferences so I can meet with the speakers and my fellow colleagues. I can also watch online and stay abreast of the changes in the law or topics that interests me. ♦
